Fair Funding for West Sussex Schools

The Tories are introducing a two-tier education system with their narrow focus on funding Free Schools and Grammar Schools, while other schools receive far less.

Figures show that Free schools receive 60 percent more funding per pupil than local authority run schools, with £7,761 going to free schools in 2013-14 compared with a national figure for local authority schools of £4,767.

We call on the government to ensure that all schools are fairly funded to enable children to achieve their full potential. No child should lose out as a result of the new funding formula.
